Laurel and Crownsville shootings keep Anne Arundel police busy

On June 25, 2016, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to the Knights Inn located at 3380 Laurel Ft. Mead Road for a shooting. When officers arrived they located a 19 year old male victim who had been shot in the upper body. The victim was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma where he is listed in critical condition. Witnesses at the scene stated that two males approached the victim and after what appeared to be a brief conversation, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

This is still a very active and ongoing investigation. The Anne Arundel County Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling Homicide Detective Carbonaro at 410-222-4731. CROWNSVILLE

On June 26, 2016, at 1:44 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Shore View Circle in Crownsville for a shooting that just occurred outside at a large house party. Upon arrival, officers located the 20 year old victim on who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim, who was alert and conscious, was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. Multiple officers, including K9, responded to the scene to assist with canvassing and locating witnesses. This is a very active investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Western District Detectives at 410-222-6155.
