About Us

welcome-matWELCOME!

Thank you for stopping by and hopefully for engaging with Eye On Annapolis with your comments, letters, and opinions both here and on our social channels. There has never been a more critical time for community involvement than today–for any number of reasons. Annapolis and Anne Arundel County are our homes and this site is about the quality of life we all share. It is written for the local community by the local community.

Eye On Annapolis will present the issues and hopefully compel you to become involved.  Eye On Annapolis will be read by the movers and the shakers (we hope). Eye On Annapolis will be influential. Eye On Annapolis will be YOUR website. We will cover everything that affects our lives in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County–politics, education, religion, entertainment, crime, sports, local businesses and much more.

As mentioned, our content will be written by locals for locals. It will be opinionated, engaging, entertaining, and perhaps even enraging. Think of it as the Huffington Post, Perez Hilton, and CNN all rolled up into a local package!

But there is a rule. Be nice or leave. We can disagree, but please do so civilly. If you need to contact us, please send us an e-mail.

We are always looking for people to join our highly unpaid staff. If you have an opinion to share or a particularly passionate interest, please let us know!  We are looking for sharp and opinionated commentary on any subject that fuels your passion–sports, politics, corruption, crime, schools, and more. We are also looking for photos of the local area–we live in a literal treasure and we want to highlight those treasures!

Again, welcome–please don’t be a stranger, we appreciate your input!
