CBMM_CLC_KayakSample_Sept29Chesapeake Light Craft will hold a public Open House on Saturday, December 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at its Annapolis, Maryland, workshop and showroom, located at 1805 George Avenue.

Boat lovers, boat builders and would-be boat builders shouldn’t miss this chance to spend time with fellow boat lovers at CLC’s expanded facility. There will be one-day-only specials running with significant discounts on in-store purchases of all the most popular gear and supplies, and on complete boat kits, too.

This year, the CLC crew is excited to welcome back Bruce Niederer, one of the epoxy wizards from WEST System’s headquarters in Bay City, Michigan. CLCers have been lucky to work with Niederer on several big projects, including building 44 Sassafras canoes in three weekends. Niederer will be demonstrating professional epoxy techniques and fielding epoxy questions.

In addition to the chance to take a close-up look at many beautifully built prototypes of CLC boats, including the new Peeler Skiff, a series of technical seminars will be offered, too. The full schedule and more details can be found atwww.clcboats.com/openhouse.

RSVPs are encouraged but not required at www.clcboats.com/openhouse. RSVPs will be eligible for door prizes, to be awarded during the afternoon.
