Eagles Labor Day Soccer Tourney Results

In the championship game of the 2nd annual Eagles Labor Day tournament St. Benedict’s from NJ beat Southern High School from Anne Arundel County . 4-0.  Southern held one of the best teams in the nation 1-0 at halftime.  St. B’s 1st half goal (at the 15:45 minute mark) was scored by Janathan Moraes and was assisted by Cris Hernandez.

St. Benedict’s 2nd half goals were scored by Cris Hernandez (assisted by Beau Gordon) at the 17:40 minute mark; Noah Sadaoui (also assisted by Beau Gordon) at the 30:35 minute mark and Cris Hernandez again (assisted by Clint Caso) at the 33:40 minute mark.

In the consolation game Northeast High School of Anne Arundel County beat Friendly of Prince Georges County 4-0.  The Northeast goals were scored by Josue Campos (one in each half) and Ryan Hanson (also one in each half).

In the preliminary games yesterday:

St. Benedict’s beat Northeast 10-0 and Southern beat Friendly 10-0.
