3 Year Old Drowns In Family Pool
From a police report this morning:
On June 25, 2009, at approximately 5:38 p.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the 1500 block of Stacey Lane in Annapolis for a report of an accidental drowning.
Upon arrival, officers located a 3-year-old female victim, who had fallen into an in-ground swimming pool at the residence. Family members were attending to the victim and officers immediately initiated CPR on the child. The paramedics arrived a short time after to attend to the victim, who was transported to Anne Arundel County Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Please, please never leave young children unattended near a pool. It only takes a second for something to happen.
