Library Giving Day

Library Giving Day is a national day of giving for public libraries to support the incredible programs, services and materials they provide. Give where you live on April 6 and support your library with a donation that will make an incredible impact on your community.
Summer @Your Library (S@YL) is a signature system-wide program for the Anne Arundel County Public Library. S@YL is largely funded by the Library Foundation with an annual grant of $45,000. Without this necessary funding, there are programs, supplies and incentives within S@YL that simply would not exist without financial support from our community donors – every dollar counts.
Summer @ Your Library:
• Offers programming for all ages, at all 16 branches.
• Fosters a love of reading and prevents “summer slide”.
• In 2021, hosted 850+ programs that served 26,500+ county residents.
Help us reach our goal of $45,000! All Library Giving Day donors will receive a complimentary “I love my library” vinyl sticker. Additional thank you gifts are available at other levels of giving.
