Londontowne Symphony Orchestra Concert: Celebrating Annapolis Green

The Londontowne Symphony Orchestra will begin your evening with classic pieces you’ll know by heart, followed by The Eastport Oyster Boys, our hometown Chesapeake ambassadors, with their own classic pieces you know by heart. The LSO’s season finale and gala will promote a sustainable, environmentally friendly community with memorable music to match.
The “classic classics” are:
- Summer, from the Four Seasons, by Vivaldi
- Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt, Op.27 (Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage) by Mendelssohn
- Die Moldau by Smetana
- Une barque sur l’océan (A Ship on the Sea) by Ravel
Your ticket entitles you not only to fantastic music but also to complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres by Saucy Salamander, accompanied by a wine and beer cash bar. And of course, since Annapolis Green is involved, the event will be Zero-Waste! Doors open at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7:30 pm.
A silent auction will also be held with rounds of golf, original paintings and photographs, and a dinner at the home of LSO music director and conductor Anna Binneweg, prepared by a professional chef!
