UPDATE

A 10 year old child fell into a 30′ deep well in Pasadena this afternoon. ¬†Shortly before 4:00pm, crews were called to the 800 Block of 217th Street along with specially trained firefighters from the confined space rescue unit housed at the Jones Station station.

Shortly before 430pm, the child was removed from the well and was being evaluated by medics. A MSP helicopter was initially called, but we understand that the patient was transported to a local hospital and the helicopter canceled.
