Join the Robinson Nature Center to celebrate Pollinator Week. It will start with a Beekeeper Q&A with Jeff Crooks, a Howard County Beekeeper with over a decade of beekeeping experience, as well as Mark Dykes, who leads the University of Maryland’s Beesquad Program. Learn how they got into beekeeping, as well as some of the challenges and successes they’ve had.
Participants can submit questions to the panelists in the chat. Then, after the Q&A, enjoy learning about pollinators and host plants in different types of gardens during a virtual tour of a vegetable garden, rain garden, green roof and wildflower area at the Robinson Nature Center.
This event is free and hosted by the Robinson Nature Center through WebEx. Spaces are limited. You must pre-register. Click here.
