Dunkin’ Celebrates Remodeled Annapolis Store with Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway

Dunkin’ today announced that is celebrating the grand re-opening its Next Generation Annapolis location at 2004 West Street on Thursday, August 26. Starting at 9:00 AM on August 26, the store will reward the first 50 guests with Free Coffee for a Year!*

At 10:00 AM, Dunkin’ franchisee Hemal Patel will host the store’s official ribbon cutting. Following the ribbon cutting, Patel, alongside the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, will present a $1,000 grant to The Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Additionally, representatives from Dunkin’ of the Greater Baltimore region will be on-site to present the ceremonial check for $35,000 to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center stemming from Dunkin’s Iced Coffee Day fundraiser throughout Baltimore this past May.

From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the store will also invite guests to enjoy a FREE Medium Hot or Iced Coffee**, giveaways from the Dunkin’ prize wheel, an on-site DJ, photo opportunities with Dunkin’ mascot Cuppy and a special appearance from The Oriole Bird mascot.

The newly remodeled Next Gen restaurant, which officially opened on August 7, offers Annapolis a first-hand look at Dunkin’s enhanced store experience, with a modern look that provides a fresh, friendly, vibrant, and engaging environment.

Dunkin’ on Demand: Next Gen restaurants feature a dedicated mobile order pick-up area so guests who order ahead via the Dunkin’ App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before. Guests can track the status of their mobile order placed for in-store pick-up via a digital order status board.
Faster Than Ever Drive-thru Experience – An exclusive On-The-Go drive-thru lane lets DD Perks Members who ordered ahead via the Dunkin’ App to bypass the ordering lane and head straight to the pickup window. Dunkin’ is the first national restaurant brand to offer this type of drive-thru innovation and convenience to make guests’ Dunkin’ runs hassle free.
Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are poured through an innovative tap system, serving a variety of consistently cold sips, such as iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew (a Next Gen exclusive!). Crew members also use top-quality, flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make handcrafted drinks to order.
Increased Energy Efficiency: Next Gen restaurants are designed to meet DD Green Achievement™ specifications. Stores that achieve DD Green Achievement status are built with sustainable and efficient elements like LED lighting, high-efficiency mechanical equipment, low-flow faucets, and more. DD Green Achievement restaurants are performing better than designed. On average, they are 33% more energy efficient compared to conventional Dunkin’ restaurants.

The 1,800 square-foot restaurant employs 10 crew members and is open daily from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The new restaurant also features indoor seating, a convenient drive-thru and offers complimentary Wi-Fi for guests. Including the new Next Gen Annapolis restaurant, Dunkin’ franchisee Hemal Patel of the Kirit Patel Network currently owns and operates 11 Dunkin’ locations throughout Maryland.
