On Sunday, April 28th, the Brigance Brigade Foundation, created by former NFL player O.J. Brigance and his wife, Chanda, will host the 6th annual Brigance Brigade Foundation 5.7K Championship Race & 1.57 Mile Family Run/Walk at Canton Waterfront Park in Baltimore, Md.
This family-friendly event, which will celebrate the kick off of ALS Awareness Month (May) will include a timed 5.7K run, a 1.57-mile family run/walk, and a Kid’s Fun Run for ages 8 and under. After the races, participants are invited to spend the morning at the event’s Celebration Village featuring a Beer Garden, music, food, a Kids’ Fun Zone, harbor views, and more!
New this year: Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, the events Official Food and Beverage Sponsor of the 5.7K Championship Event, will provide a build-your-own brunch bar for participants, as well as a beer and champagne tent, at an added cost.
*Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation which works to equip, encourage and empower people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS.)
