3rd Annual Friends of the Rising Sun Inn Charity Golf Tournament

The 3rd Annual Friends of the Rising Sun Inn Charity Golf Tournament is Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Compass Pointe Golf Course located at 9010 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, Maryland. We’ve reschedule the date due to inclement weather and reopened registration.
Come out and join us for a great day for a great cause! Come on your own, bring a friend, or register your own foursome. Any way you do it, join the effort to preserve and restore this beloved cultural treasure for future generations to learn from.
Entry fee is $125.00 per golfer and includes everything for a great day on the course starting with a Continental Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and a 9:00 a.m. start time. Also included is your Green Fees and Cart, Refreshments on the course (beer, soda, & water). End your day with All American Grill Luncheon and Awards Ceremony. Do you have the right stuff? Prizes awarded for Hole-in-One, Closest to the Pin on Par 3’s, and Longest Drive. Register for the tournament.

The SMGA’s mission is Empowering Wounded Veterans, One Fairway at a Time,” and it’s our pleasure to join their team!

The Friends of the Rising Sun Inn is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization established to provide funding for the preservation, restoration, repair, maintenance, and operation of the Rising Sun Inn and property as a historical site and museum. Located on the famed Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route, National Historic Trail, the Rising Sun Inn was built circa 1753 and is a rare surviving example of a pre-Revolutionary, hip-roofed farmhouse and 18th century tavern and is listed with the National Registry of Historic Places.
