2021 WETATi Entrepreneurship Convention and iDEA Pitch Competition

We’re Empowered To Achieve The impossible (WETATi) Next Gen UMCP, in partnership with and located at Nyumburu Cultural Center, UMCP, College Park, MD, will virtually host the 2021 Entrepreneurship Convention and iDEA Pitch Competition on July 27, 2021 from 1 to 5 pm, streaming the intense competition among aspiring young entrepreneurs and inventors for the grand prize of $2,500 in seed funding across the country. Competitors will have three minutes to sell their business or invention in front of successful business owners, such as Mayor Tim Adams, of Bowie, Maryland, president and CEO of SA-TECHINC. The winners will be announced at WETATi’s annual Scholarship and Awards Gala on August 28, 2021, from 6 to 8 pm.

Participants will be able to connect with big names, like Chick-Fil-A and PNC Bank.
