Another customer was robbed at a bank yesterday afternoon.
On October 23, 2023, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police officers responded to a robbery of a citizen in the parking lot of the Navy Federal Credit Union located at 825 Bestgate Road in Annapolis.
The 60-year-old male victim was walking to his vehicle after making a cash withdrawal when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects struck the victim’s hand with a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet and cash. The victim dropped his wallet and cash.
The suspects got into a white SUV driven by a third suspect. The vehicle fled east on Bestgate Road toward Route 50. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
The suspects were described as three Black males, 20-30 years old, wearing dark clothing, one was short in stature.
