The Annapolis Police Department has not released any information regarding a fatal shooting in the 100 block of Obery Court earlier this evening.
We do know that around 5:30 pm, EMS responded to Obery Court for a shooting, and shortly thereafter, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
We do not know if a suspect is in custody or a continuing danger to the neighborhood.
The police should update us shortly; if they do, this story will be updated. This is the second homicide in Annapolis this year. On January 22, 2023, 18-year-old Reco Ramon Johnson was shot to death on Newtowne Drive. A suspect has not been arrested in that case.
