Good morning, it’s Friday, March 3rd, 2023, and THIS is your Eye On Annapolis Daily News Brief presented by Annapolis Subaru and the SPCA of Anne Arundel County!
You are the lucky ones! The company that hosts our server had some scheduled upgrades overnight, so the DNB will NOT be on Eye On Annapolis, and you are the only ones to get it first thing. We’ll upload it to the site as soon as we can! Well, there is some news, and we have Canines & Crosstreks, so sit back, relax, and let’s get into it, shall we?
We do not know a lot because the Annapolis Police have not issued any statements or provided any information, but we do know that a person was shot to death last night in the 100 block of Obery Court.
In other crime news, as expected, Angelo Harrod appealed his conviction in the killing of Michelle Cummings back in June of 2021. His attorney says that the police have not identified the second person who was with him the night of the shooting and that Harrod is not the gunman. No dates for hearings have been set.
Annapolis Restaurant Week is rolling through the 5th of March. More than 40 area restaurants offer special menus on 2-course breakfasts and lunches and 3-course dinners for a fixed price. Check out the menus, make a game plan, and enjoy. All the details are at AnnapolisRestaurantWeek.com
Today on Canines & Crosstreks– we went to the mall–Paws at the Mall because it is adopt a guinea pig month, and we got a chance to play with some smaller animals this week. Listen now and then check out EyeOnAnnapolis.net at noon for irresistible photos and information on how you can give these pigs (and that sounds mean, but hey, that’s what they are called) their fur-ever home!

It goes out on Fridays at 12:30 pm you can sign up on the form on EyeOnAnnapolis.net or I will leave a link right here in the show notes.
