In this month’s podcast with the beer gurus at Katcef Brothers we hopped over to one of my favorite wing places, Heroes Pub in West Annapolis.
And oddly enough, but not so odd if you know Heroes and Kurt and Lila Beall, we spoke about Sailor Oyster Bar and how they are recovering and how you can help. Heroes was one of the VERY first businesses to step up to manage several fundraisers.
Clancy, the GM from Sailor Oyster Bar joined us to let us know how they, he, and the rest of the staff are doing and how we can support them during the next year as they rebuild after the June 8th fire. Spoiler: stay tuned for a Sailor Oyster Bar bash this summer to thank the community!
Of course, we talk about summer brews, summer events, Fourth of July Plans, and the crazy amount of smashes, and the new hot drink of the summer– Nutrl.
And as we wrapped, (before I headed inside for a fantastic club sandwich) we needed to talk about community building and the Heroes Farmer’s Market. It is in the parking lot of Heroes and the next one is Tuesday, July 12th from 3 pm to 7 pm!
