Unidentified group of males shoot teen as he was walking to car

The Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting in Glen Burnie that left a 14-year old child in a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On December 9, 2020 at approximately 7:20 p.m. the Anne Arundel County Police Department  responded to a call of shots heard in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie.

Officers saturated the area and simultaneously, updated information revealed a 14 year-old male victim, with a non life threatening gunshot wound to the torso, was dropped off at an area hospital.

Officers responded to the hospital and made contact with the victim. It was reported the victim exited a residence and was walking to a vehicle with friends when a group of unidentified males shot at them. The victim was then driven to the hospital.

Officers canvassed the community for evidence and witnesses. Eastern District detectives are working any and all leads and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-6145 or the Tip Line at 410-222-3502. At this time the victim is in stable condition.
