No ice skating this winter at Quiet Waters Park

Due to the increased spread of COVID, the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks has decided to not open the ice rink at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis this winter.

The announcement was made on their website:

Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will not open for the 2020/21 season due to the recent spike in COVID19 cases. The Department of Recreation and Parks and Department of Health made this difficult decision in an effort to protect our staff and citizens and lessen the community spread. The Quiet Waters staff will be working on ice rink facility renovations so your skating experience will be better than ever next year!

However, if you are looking for some outdoor skating, the Glen Burnie outdoor rink does plan to open this season with COVID precautions in place.
