Navy and No. 22 Tulsa meet on the gridiron for the eighth time overall and the sixth time as American Athletic Conference foes when they square off Saturday afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (3:30 pm, ESPN2). The game is presented by First Command and is also Senior Day.

Navy has won 17-straight games on Senior Day with the last loss coming in 2002. Navy will look to beat a top 25-opponent in back-to-back years for the first time since 2015-16. Last year, Navy beat No. 21 SMU 35-28 on Senior Day.

Navy leads the all-time series 6-1, including a 5-0 mark in AAC games. Its only setback in the series was a 24-23 overtime loss to the Golden Hurricane in 2006. It was also the Mids’ first overtime game in school history. Navy owns a 2-1 record against Tulsa in games played in Annapolis.

Navy started three different quarterbacks in its first three games of the season for the first time since 1992. That 1992 team finished 1-10. Navy has played at least two quarterbacks in six of its eight contests this year. The only games Navy played just one QB were against Temple and Houston (Dalen Morris went the distance in both games).
