Leaders of 7 Counties and Baltimore City to hold joint news conference today at 2:00pm

The leaders of Maryland’s seven largest counties and newly sworn-in Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott will hold a virtual press conference on Wednesday, December 9 at 2:00 p.m. to urge Marylanders to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines in their jurisdictions and across the State.

Counties across Maryland are reporting record COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations and deaths continue to rise statewide as health officials warn the pandemic could be even worse this winter than the initial surge during the spring. These eight leaders are coming together to express a unified voice.
