Fill the BUDweiser Truck for our neighbors this holiday season

Katcef Brothers has announced the start of its ‘Fill the BUDweiser Truck’ campaign to give back to the Maryland communities where they operate. Katcef Brothers is an Annapolis-based, family-owned beer wholesaler affiliated with Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewer. Katcef Brothers serves retail establishments in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties. The company also owns and runs Montgomery Eagle and Capital Eagle, companies that serve Montgomery County, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., respectively.

As the pandemic continues to leave its mark on Maryland, the need for donations remains high as many families struggle to get by with less. To help those in need, this fall on days between October 30 and November 23 Katcef Brothers will park a truck near a retail location to collect nonperishable food items, toiletries, and new items of clothing including socks and coats. Katcef Brothers will also be stationing boxes at local retailers, in the event that residents looking to donate are unable to drop items off during the events.

“At Katcef Brothers, we have a 90-year tradition of giving back to the families in the communities in which we work and live,” said Neal Katcef, CEO of Katcef Brothers. “We join together with the many businesses, organizations and individuals that have always been part of making a difference in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties.”

Each donation drop-off event will last for two hours before the truck departs, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in raffles and other giveaways. In operating the Fill the BUDweiser Truck campaign, Katcef Brothers partnered with Love Anne Arundel (LOVE AACO), a coalition of local churches and organizations in Anne Arundel County, and Community Action Council of Howard County, which combats poverty in Howard County.
