Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC), the official Destination Marketing Organization for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, is launching a nationwide search for a new executive director.
VAAAC Chairman of the Board Gary Jobson says the organization has retained the Ellicott City-based recruiting firm, HR Strategy Group, LLC, to conduct the search to fill the top position at VAAAC.
Jobson says the Board of Directors is looking forward to embarking on a new chapter of the organization’s growth. According to Jobson, “Assuming the leadership reins during COVID-19 will provide the new executive director with a challenge as well as the opportunity to work with the destination’s many dedicated business owners, residents, and elected officials in helping to rebuild and revitalize Annapolis and Anne Arundel County’s economy from the ground floor up. We’re looking for an experienced leader to assess our tourism brands with a new eye and help chart the course for a vibrant future.”
