Annapolis Town Center prepares for the Holidays

| November 20, 2020, 04:40 PM

The Annapolis Town Center successfully and safely brought its community together this year with innovative events and tenant activations. The summer to fall season introduced a new transformation to the property with three of its outdoor areas turning into unique event spaces. Weekly happenings in these new areas provided guests with a safe outlet to escape their homes and enjoy the fresh air with fun activities and live entertainment.

Introducing these enhancements to the area and notably ramping up their social media presence, the Town Center began elevating their ability to reach and engage their highly digital and safe-minded community. Fright Nights at Annapolis Town Center was yet another example of their commitment to the locals. Six sold out nights in October provided families and friends with a thrilling good time, complete with a drive-in movie and drive-through haunted alleyway experience.

Liquified Creative Annapolis

With the year’s end closing in, guests and residents can expect even more from the Center. A newly opened Paseo allows the public direct through-way access from the South Garage to Boutique Row on the east side of the property. This climate controlled expressway features enhanced ticketless valet, newly added public restrooms with changing tables, and a beautiful seating area for those looking to take a rest from holiday shopping.

“Our focus has remained on creating a variety of offerings and experiences that today’s consumer wants and needs,” said Anthony Henry, Annapolis Town Center General Manager. “Whether that desire is through entertainment, dining or commerce, we are dedicated to bringing new, innovative ideas to the table. I think this year is just a glimpse of what our property can accomplish for the community.”

This holiday season, Annapolis Town Center will also be hosting a number of events, activations, workshops, and shopping incentives. Santa arrives November 21 for the Town Center’s annual Tree Lighting. Residents and guests can safely join the festivities by attending the joyful Drive-in Movie or Holiday Vinyls and Vino. And, Santa isn’t going anywhere just yet. From November 21 through December 24, enjoy a safer Santa experience as St. Nick welcomes guests to his cottage, by appointment only. Choose from an in-person, contactless visit or a virtual experience with video conferencing technology. Reservations are now open. Tenant activations will also dot the calendar, like a Holiday Stroll on November 28 featuring shopping opportunities, workshops, and live entertainment, as well as a S’mores Night in The Garden on December 12. Holiday Workshops will also provide guests the opportunity to get a little creative this year, while daily specials and feel-good community initiatives can be discovered during the Annapolis Town Center’s special social Advent Calendar series.

The Town Center aims to finish the year with success and prepare for 2021 as they deliver their guests and tenants more events, more tenants, and more worthy experiences that bring the best of Annapolis together. The most known and easily most anticipated additions to come is True Food Kitchen – a new marquee restaurant, Nothing Bundt Cakes, a Taste of New Orleans, and PAINT Nail Bar. They will all be joining the recently opened Offenbachers Home Escapes on Towne Centre Boulevard.
