The boat was a little late the first time. It was a little early the second time, but the third time was a charm for Travis Pastrana as he jumped a rally car over the waterway in Annapolis known as Ego Alley.
Crews had spent the past three days setting up the ramps in the City Dock parking lot and at the end of Newman Street for the stunt that was a bit delayed due to the heavy fog. But right at 11:00am, the roar of the engines of his rally car and those of a Hoonigans speed boat filled the air.
This stunt is part of the production for an upcoming Gymkhana video. Pastrana is an Annapolis native who was home-schooled, and lived in Davidsonville prior to moving to Severna Park with his family.
However epic the jump was, Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley came home with the shot of the day (above).
