The Annapolis Police Department is investigating the theft of $55,000 from an Annapolis resident.
On October 26, 2020 at approximately 7:30 am, Annapolis Police officers responded to the 200 block of Sumner Road in reference to a reported fraud.
The victim advised that an unknown person gained access to her bank account and made a transfer of $55,000 to another account.
This is an ongoing investigation.
