UPDATED: Glen Burnie child abducted by mother after home invasion



UPDATE:
On October 16, 2020 at approximately 3:30 p.m. the mother and child walked into a Baltimore County Police District to turn herself in. The child, Prophet; was not injured and will be reunited with his father. This is still an open investigation and Eastern District detectives ask anyone with information please call 410-222-6145 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700. The mother, 39, of the 600 block of Lark Court, Concord, NC 28027, and the child’s grandmother, 57, of the 2800 block of Kirtland Avenue in District Heights, MD.


On October 15th, 2020 at approximately 10:50 p.m. Anne Arundel County Police officers responded for a Parental Abduction/Home Invasion in the 400 block of Glen Mar Circle, Glen Burnie.

The mother, maternal grandmother, and 2 unknown males forced open the door to the apartment and assaulted the father and paternal grandparents.

The mother and her associates removed the 7 year old child from his bed and fled from the residence. The victim is without his medication and was abducted wearing only grey unerwear.

  • Victim: Prophet Marquis Matthew Johnson, B/M, DOB:11/21/12, 400 block of Glen Mar Court, Glen Burnie

According to the Amber Alert issued early this morning, they may be driving a dark colored Chrysler 300 with large rims and Maryland tags.
