Archbishop Spalding High School to close for three days awaiting confirmation of COVID-19 test results

The Archbishop Spalding School is closing for three days and will re-open on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 due to a community member who is currently being tested for the COVID-19 virus.

A letter was sent home to families on March 11, 2020 advising that a member of the Archbishop Spalding community was being tested for the COVID-19 virus.

In consultation with government guidelines and the Archdiocese of Baltimore the decision was made to close the school pending the results of the test. If positive, the school will advise what the next steps might include.

Additionally, they have cancelled all out of state field trips indefinitely.
