Annapolis Film Festival organizers (March 26-29)monitoring COVID-19 situation

The Annapolis Film Festival for 2020 is scheduled for March 26-29 and organizers sent out a memo earlier this evening reiterating their commitment to safety and highlighting the steps they are taking to make sure everyone has a safe and fun experience.

Dear AFF Film Festival Friends,

As we are working hard to put the final details in place for the 8th Annual Annapolis Film Festival, we are deeply committed to the health and safety of the Annapolis community and our festival attendees. We want to make you aware of the additional procedures that will be implemented in light of the latest information available regarding COVID-19.

The AFF staff and Board of Directors are continually monitoring the latest developments, as well as the most up-to-date procedures and practices recommended by local, national, and international authorities. With that information top of mind, and with caution, we are confidently moving forward with AFF2020, which will take place March 26-29, 2020.

Safety is always a top priority at AFF2020, and we remain committed to making the Festival a space of safety and well-being for our attendees, guests, volunteers, and staff. We are in touch with local officials and monitoring the communications from the Maryland and Anne Arundel County Departments of Health, along with additional organizations and individuals in the field, to ensure we are following the recommended guidelines. We will continue to provide updated information on health related measures as our plans evolve.

We are here and ready to listen. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]. As more information becomes available, we will continue to keep our Film Festival Family informed. Please check back daily for updates on our website and social media platforms.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we look forward to celebrating the 8th Annual Annapolis Film Festival.
