Join Historic Annapolis on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 for an exclusive day trip to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s (PHS) 2020 Philadelphia Flower Show, the world’s largest and longest-running horticultural event. Travel by deluxe motor coach to enjoy displays inspired by the world’s exotic Mediterranean gardens and spend the day exploring the allure and extraordinary plant palette of some of the world’s most captivating coastal regions.

Liquified Creative Annapolis

During the trip to the show, enjoy a special talk from Christine Price-Abelow, lead Horticulturist at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.  To go along with the Show”s theme, Christine will talk to guests about Mediterranean plants and how to care for them. She will also give a short overview of the many different gardens at the Smithsonian Institution.

Once you arrive, spend the day  soaking in the best sights, scents, and tastes that spring has to offer! This year’s theme, Riviera Holiday, will feature acres of lush garden landscapes designed to transport visitors to the Mediterranean Riviera, and includes five new world-class designers and an enormous variety of Mediterranean plants. Throughout the exhibits, Mobile Pop Up moments offer visitors a glimpse at what goes on behind the scenes before the show, where visitors can learn to grow their own show-worthy plants, make jewelry from materials found in nature, and more!

Learn garden tips and tricks in the new PHS Grow It! Center, which will feature the latest garden trends, hands- on learning sessions, and chats with garden experts. These all-new interactive experiences will give beginner and experienced gardeners alike a chance to connect over their passion for plants and learn how to make a bigger difference in their communities through horticulture.
