VIDEO: County fire department seeks public’s help in arson fire at Pasadena Elementary School


The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is seeking the help of the public in identifying two suspects in a recent dumpster fire that has been determined to be arson.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the persons believed responsible for an arson fire involving a dumpster at the Pasadena Elementary School on January 30th.

On January 30th at approximately 2:40 a.m. firefighters responded to a dumpster fire at the Pasadena Elementary School, located at 401 Pasadena Road. The dumpster was located away from any structures and quickly extinguished.

Firefighters notified members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit. Through their investigation, they obtained evidence and the video. It is believed that the persons in the video may be responsible for other small, outside fires in the area.

This is an active criminal investigation. Investigators are requesting that anyone with home video recording systems or who may have seen anything unusual in that area that morning or knows the identities of the persons in the video to contact them. They may be contacted at the TIPS line at (410)222-TIPS or by using the online form.
