Police investigating suspicious bracket discovered in Annapolis Chuck E Cheese bathroom

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating a suspicious bracket that was removed from above a drop ceiling in a rest room in the Annapolis location of Chuck E. Cheese.

On Saturday, February 8, 2020 at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers responded to the Chuck-E-Cheese restaurant located at 2333 Forest Drive for a report of suspicious activity.

A concerned individual saw what he believed to be a camera mounting bracket hidden above the ceiling tiles in the men’s/boys’ restroom. The reporting person retrieved the bracket which was collected as evidence by detectives. There was no camera affixed to the bracket at the time it was recovered.

Southern District Detectives are working with the restaurant management to obtain any evidence that could lead to a possible suspect who may have installed the hardware. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call Detective Sansbury at 410-222-1960.
