One dead in Glen Burnie shooting, another in shock-trauma

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating a double shooting in Glen Burnie that left one man dead and another at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Police, and EMS were dispatched to the 200 block of Poplar Avenue in Glen Burnie just before 5:00pm on February 22, 2020 for a shooting.

Once on the scene, police discovered one male who was pronounced deceased at the scene and another with serious injuries.

At this time, police have not released the names of the victims or anything regarding a possible suspect(s). There were reports on social media that two males fled the scene in a black Toyota, however this has not been confirmed by police.
