The Annapolis Film Festival has announced that Military Wives, starring Academy Award Nominee Kristin Scott Thomas will be the opening night film of the 8th annual festival. Opening night will be on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
Directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) and starring Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (Fleabag, The English Patient) and Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe), Military Wives centers on a group of women in England whose partners are away serving in Afghanistan. Faced with the men’s absences, they form a choir and quickly find themselves at the center of a media sensation and global movement.
Passes for the Annapolis Film Festival are on sale now and individual tickets will go on sale on March 3, 2020.
