Joseph Willis charged with murder of Glen Burnie man and shooting two police officers

UPDATE: From Anne Arundel County Police:


Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney has announced that she will be providing more information about Joseph Willis who has been charged with the murder of a Glen Burnie man and shooting two Anne Arundel County Police Officers.

Anne Colt Leitess, the State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County will provide more information on the homicide this afternoon at a 130pm press conference scheduled for 130pm at the Glen Burnie Courthouse.

The Anne Arundel County Police will also hold a press conference at their Millersville Headquarters  at 1230pm to discuss the manhunt that lasted more than 18 hours, the conditions of the detectives and to piece together what they know at this point.

No booking photo has been provided of the suspect at this point. Willis’ Facebook page (above) indicates he lives in Brooklyn Park.
