5 teenage girls charged by Annapolis Police for car theft

On October 11, 2019 at 10:45am, the Annapolis Police Department responded to the Hyundai car dealership on West Street for a reported stolen vehicle that was believed to have been stolen that morning at 5:15am.

Almost simultaneously police received a report of a Hyundai striking a fence in the 200 block of Farragut Ct off of Hilltop Lane.

When officers arrived on Farragut Ct the five juvenile females inside the vehicle fled out of the vehicle on foot. All five were apprehended.

The juvenile females, a 14 year old, 15 year old, two 16 year olds and a 17 year old, were charged on juvenile citations with auto theft.
