Maryland (42-20) woke up offensively in the bottom of the sixth inning. Carlos Perez broke up starter Cam Vieaux’s no-hit bid with a three-run home run to left field. His 14th long ball of the season scored Ryan McKenna and Anderson Feliz, who both drew two-out walks to keep the rally going.

Michael Baumann found himself in line for the victory following the Perez homer and earned the win by allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits with four strikeouts in six innings. Steven Klimek tossed a pair of scoreless innings, while Cristian Alvarado earned his 10th save with a perfect final frame.

Looking for the series win, the Baysox return for their final home game of the 2019 regular season at 1:35 p.m. RHP Tyler Herb (3-2, 4.75 ERA) faces RHP Beau Sulser (8-1, 2.48 ERA) on Fan Appreciation Day, where fans can get autographs from the team on the concourse, as well as play catch in the outfield.
