KcKenna and Kremer keep Baysox on a roll

For a second consecutive night the Baysox grabbed an early lead via the long ball and never looked back. This time Bowie lashed a season-high five home runs in a 6-2 win in Hartford Tuesday night.
Bowie got it going in the second inning. With a runner on, Jessie Valentin hit a two run home run into the upper deck in right field. Two batters later, Preston Palmeiro repeated the feat with a solo blast into the seats in right. Bowie had a 3-0 lead.
The Baysox would get two more long balls in the third inning. The Baysox got solo shots from Ryan McKenna and Carlos Perez to lead 5-0. It was more than starting pitcher Dean Kremer needed.
In a pitch efficient start, Kremer diced up the Hartford order getting through the first six innings in just 67 pitches. He would tie a career high with seven innings of work allowing no runs on three hits while striking out five batters.
Bowie was not done yet as McKenna would launch another HR to left. This time over the bullpen and onto the concourse. His ninth of the year was his second of the night and fourth in as many games.
The Baysox look to go undefeated in 2019 in Hartford Wednesday night as RHP Mike Baumann makes his first Eastern League start. Coverage begins 20-minutes prior on wnav.com, baysox.com and via the Tune-In App by searching Baysox.
The Baysox return home Thursday, July 4th for their annual Independance Day Game! A great fireworks show will follow the 6:35 p.m. start against Harrisburg! Get tickets at 301-464-4865 or purchase online at baysox.com.
