Light House investigating unexpected death of resident

The Light House, A Homeless Prevention and Support Center in Annapolis, is investigating the unexpected death of a resident of the shelter. In a statement the shelter said “We are deeply saddened by a tragedy that occurred this morning. One of our clients has died unexpectedly while in residence. At this time, we are primarily concerned with the family of the deceased, our residents and staff of The Light House, and everyone touched by the life of this kind and gentle person.”

Due to confidentiality laws, the Light House did not release the identity of the resident.

The Light House has solicited help from Crisis Response, grief counselors and clergy for any employees, residents, or family members that may need support.
