The scholarship program is funded entirely through donations. Traditionally, two $1000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors that reside in the City of Annapolis. This year a total of 7 scholarships will be awarded through the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund. The $5000 funding the additional scholarships was graciously donated anonymously, to be awarded in honor of the victims of The Capital Gazette shooting: Gerald Fischman, Rob Hiaasen, John McNamara, Rebecca Smith, and Wendi Winters. It is a wonderful tribute to these Annapolis heroes.
