Do you have a MHEC GA Grant? Make sure you attend a drop-off event to submit your documentation

Many students lose the opportunity to receive State financial aid each year because they fail to submit all of the required documentation.  During the Document Drop-Off events, counselors and college access professionals will be on hand to assist students already notified by MHEC as potentially eligible for the GA grant.  The team will help the student make sure they are submitting the required and accurate documentation needed to complete the student’s application, making them eligible for up to $18,600 annually to attend a Maryland college or university.

To ensure MHEC helps as many students as possible to submit the proper documents before the April 1 deadline, a series of Document Drop-Off events have been planned throughout the month of March and are available to all students who have been notified that they are potentially eligible for the grant.
