The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) announces the publication of the most recent Community Needs Assessment, Poverty Amidst Plenty VI: On the Road to Progress For All.
The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the issues in Anne Arundel County that impact the economy and quality of life; including child care, economic opportunity, the environment, health, homelessness, housing, the income gap, mental health, population growth, poverty, social media, substance abuse and transportation.
The report intends to increase knowledge and awareness, as well as to frame informed discussions about persistent local trends and needs. This report is also meant to inform the Community Foundation’s fund holders, donors, nonprofit grantees and professional adviser partners, as well as all stakeholders in the county about the challenges facing Anne Arundel County and the importance of their participation in critical conversations focused on transforming and strengthening our community.

Join Anne Arundel County community leaders, nonprofit organization representatives, local philanthropists, and community volunteers for a powerful and eye-opening presentation of Poverty Amidst Plenty VI: On the Road to Progress For All. The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County’s Community Needs Assessment is a collaboration with Anne Arundel Medical Center, University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Anne Arundel Mental Health Agency, Annapolis and Anne Arundel County YWCA, and the Anne Arundel County Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families.
