Five people were taken to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore following a head on collision on the Riva Road Bridge on Riva Road, near Mike’s Crabhouse.
The accident occurred just after 7pm and according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department officials four men and one woman were transported with what are believe to be non life-threatening injuries.

The initial dispatch indicated that victims were trapped, but that was not the case upon arrival.
