Yesterday (March 5, 2019) at 230pm, Annapolis City Police were contacted about a subject who may be having a mental health crisis in the unit block of Clay Street.
A non-criminal court order was obtained to take the man to an area hospital. He refused to come out of the home so Clay Street was closed to traffic and the Crisis Negotiation and Annapolis Special Emergency Teams were called to assist the officers on scene.
At 9:30pm officers entered the home and the man was taken to an area hospital.
