Village at Providence Point crosses major milestone, will begin marketing the project

National Lutheran Communities & Services’ (NLCS) proposed Annapolis-based continuing care retirement community, The Village at Providence Point—A National Lutheran Community, received approval from the Maryland Department of Aging for its feasibility submission on February 14, 2019.

“The Maryland Department of Aging applies rigorous standards to any senior-living application, ensuring it protects consumers and their best interests,” NLCS’ President & CEO Larry Bradshaw said. “We are pleased that they have affirmed their confidence in The Village at Providence Point, and we look forward to becoming a member of the Annapolis community.”

The Village at Providence Point will be located at the intersection of Forest Drive and Spa Road, offering a variety of residences and health care options for individuals 60+. The first phase of the project is slated to include 225 independent living apartments, 30 cottages and 32 health care suites.

With this approval, The Village at Providence Point can begin marketing the proposed community to achieve its necessary pre-sales goals.
