UPDATE (2/19/19):
On February 19, 2019 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Jamari Hammond responded to the Western District station accompanied by his mother to turn himself in. He was taken into custody without incident.
The Anne Arundel County Police are searching for 17-year old Jamari Marquese Hammond in relation to the shooting at the Arundel Mills Mall last night.
Hammond is suspected of shooting a man near Entrance 3 of the large mall which is a large entertainment complex in Hanover, MD. Police say that the victim self-transported himself to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was last listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jamari Marquese Hammond is asked to call Anne Arundel County Police at 410-222-8610 or 410-222-6155. Hammond is assumed to be armed and dangerous.
