Armed Ninja on the loose in downtown Annapolis

UPDATE:  Here is more information and detail from the Annapolis Police Department:

Burglary – 201800002879 – 100-199 East St – 07/16 at 6pm to 07/17 at 12:15am: The adult female resident reported that her dog started growling, so she started checking her home and discovered some items had been moved. When she checked her closet she discovered a male intruder holding a shotgun inside. The resident described the suspect as an African American male, 6’1” to 6’5” tall, 200-220 lbs, with a medium build and dark complexion, full black beard and bushy style hair. He was wearing a neon green and black cloth around his neck, a black spandex style shirt, black pants and green and black tennis shoes. She described him as looking like a ninja. The resident immediately fled the home and called the police. The suspect also fled the area in an unknown direction. Officers did not locate the suspect. The suspect may have entered the home through an unlocked window or door. The victim previously lost her keys to her home and believes her home was entered. These prior incidents were not reported to the police.


According to Alderwoman Elly Tierney, a home was broken into on East Street last night and the resident discovered an armed intruder in the closet dressed as a Ninja.  The Annapolis Police Department is investigating.
