Motorcyclist killed in West Street crash

A motorcyclist was killed and another person transported to an area hospital with injuries after a crash along West Street in Annapolis last night.

The accident happened at about 10:45pm in front of the Annapolis Exxon at 1926 West Street (near Pep Boys).  The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital.

The extent of the SUV driver’s injuries and the cause of the accident are not known at this time.
