Mimi Shea opens Annapolis branch of Caring Transitions

Mimi SheaLocal entrepreneur Mimi Shea is pleased to announce the launch of her new business, Caring Transitions of Annapolis.

Caring Transitions’ specially trained team can handle organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving, resettling, in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource for managing senior relocations, but the services are also perfect for busy families and individuals in need of assistance. Caring Transitions of Annapolis serves Anne Arundel County.

“I’ve moved my mom twice and am just helped my older cousin into Assisted Living. The transitions we face throughout our lives, especially as we get older, can be overwhelmingly stressful, but you don’t have to do it alone. At Caring Transitions, our full suite of customizable services can take that stress off your shoulders so you can focus on what’s important – your family,” Shea said.

Shea, a mother of two and an avid sailor, is also no stranger to estate sales and project management. In addition to the work she does with Caring Transitions, Shea is well known for her Wee-Sale Consignment Event (held in Hyattsville, MD) and She-Sale Ladies Consignment Event (held in Annapolis). Her experience with those two events has made her not only an excellent project manager, but also an estate sale extraordinaire and a great organizer. She was looking to add estate sale services to her offerings when she heard her local Caring Transitions franchise was available.

“I had been bidding on Caring Transitions online auctions for a while – gathering items, especially to sell at the She-Sale. Caring Transitions offers a vast menu of services and often liquidation can be an effective solution when there are resalable items. When I found out the local Caring Transitions territory was for sale, I jumped on the opportunity,” Shea said. “I’m excited to own my own Caring Transitions business and to have a bigger impact on my community through this new business venture.”

Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation as well as busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – from just getting someone resettled into their new place to managing the entire move and estate-clearing.

“Caring Transitions is a caring company that comes in to help in a stress-free way. We aren’t coming in to throw all your possessions in boxes or force you into an estate sale. We want to talk about what you and your family need and figure out how we can help. It’s all about making your transitions as smooth and stress-free as possible,” Shea said.

Caring Transitions of Annapolis is insured and employees have been background checked. For additional information, call (410)451-1465, email [email protected] or visit www.CaringTransitionsAnnapolis.com.
