Local businessman and candidate for Mayor, Gavin Buckley has been feeling some heat over a statement made on The Maryland Crabs Podcast in March where he was discussing the need to get more people to enjoy downtown. There was confusion if he was serious or not and with good reason–if nothing else, Buckley is a man of ideas; which may not be a bad thing for Annapolis.
Mayor Pantelides felt he was serious and sent a mailer out and created a website along with a video to rebuff the idea.
Buckley has put the confusion to rest with a Facebook post to his campaign’s page last night. There will be no ferris wheel at City Dock.
